Fire Displaces Family, Snake, In Yorba Linda
A family of three and their pet snake was displaced overnight when a Yorba Linda garage caught fire.

YORBA LINDA, CA — A family of three and their pet snake displaced from their home in Yorba Linda after a fire burned the garage adjacent to their house, authorities said Wednesday. All of them are safe, the Orange County Fire Authority reports.
Crews responded to the 3800 block of Blue Gum Drive and found a residential garage engulfed in flames, according to OCFA.
By 2:30 a.m., a coordinated effort between Anaheim Fire, OrangeCity Fire Department, Orange County Fire Authority Firefighters and the Orange County Sheriff's Department had the scene handled, according to reports.

Firefighters saved the adjacent home and limited the spread of the blaze, OCFA reported over Twitter. No one was injured, not even the family snake.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
