Football: Wolpin Leads Santa Margarita Past JSerra
The running back scores four touchdowns as the Eagles move into a tie for second place in the Trinity League.

Ryan Wolpin rushed for four touchdowns and Santa Margarita Catholic moved into a tie for second place in the Trinity League with a 42-14 victory over JSerra Friday at Saddleback College.
Wolpin ran for three scores in the first half as the Eagles (7-1, 2-1) built a 28-0 lead. He rushed for 169 of Santa Margarita's 350 rushing yards. Johnny Stanton passed for 166 yards, including an 81-yard scoring pass to Sean Modster, and rushed for 85.
Wolpin scored on runs of 26, 3, 10 and 7 yards. Alex Suchesk scored on a 54-yard run in the third quarter.

JSerra (3-5, 0-3) trailed 35-0 before it finally scored on a pass from Jake Hall to Jonavaughn Williams.
Hall completed 12 of 23 passes for 161 yards, 105 of those to Williams, who caught seven passes.

Santa Margarita's two remaining games are against the two teams it's battling for the league title; it plays St. John Bosco (6-2, 2-1) next week, and Servite (8-0, 3-0) in the season finale.
JSerra faces Orange Lutheran (6-2, 1-2) next week and closes against Mater Dei (3-5, 1-2).
