Gas Prices Hover Below $4 Per Gallon In Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, CA β Gas prices continue to rise across Orange County, where the average price has risen to its highest amount since Aug. 4, 2015.
According to an Automobile Club of Southern California spokesperson, the cost of a gallon of self-serve gasoline has increased 3 cents to $3.947. It has risen 24 consecutive days, increasing 62.5 cents, including 4.2 cents on Wednesday.
The Orange County average price is 23.5 cents more than one week ago, 63 cents higher than one month ago and 39.6 cents greater than one year ago

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Thursday for the 32nd consecutive day, increasing 3.1 cents to $3.977, its highest amount since Aug. 4, 2015.
The average price has increased 61.8 cents over the past 32 days, including 3.5 cents on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 21.9 cents more than one week ago, 61.7 cents higher than one month ago and 39.5 cents greater than one year ago.
The recent sharp increases are the result of a series of refinery issues that have reduced supply, according to Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager.
