Gelson's Markets to Offer Freebies at Grand Opening

Gelson’s Markets will open in Ladera Ranch Thursday with hundreds of freebies to attract new customers.

Gelson’s will celebrate its Ladera Ranch grand opening on Thursday, by giving bags full of goodies to the first 200 customers in line. The grand opening will take place at 9 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the by the Ladera Ranch Chamber of Commerce.

“We look forward to serving our loyal customers and to introducing many new shoppers to the Gelson’s brand,” said Hee-Sook Nelson, Gelson’s Vice President of Employee Education and Marketing. “As always, we aim to exceed expectations in terms of quality products, cleanliness, convenience, and personal service. We also look forward to being active members of these thriving communities.”

Gelson’s also has plans to open new stores soon in Rancho Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach. The chain now has 29 stores with openings already this year in Del Mar, Rancho Mirage, and La Costa/Carlsbad, and Santa Monica.
