Higher Police Presence In RSM Amid Emergency Exercise
Rancho Santa Margarita residents may see a higher police and firefighter presence in the community over the next couple days.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — If you're driving past the Bridge Church in Rancho Santa Margarita Thursday or Friday and see a squad of emergency response vehicles, worry not.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department, in partnership with the Orange County Fire Authority, issued a public advisory Thursday to notify the Rancho Santa Margarita community of a training exercise to take place in the city Thursday and Friday.
We are conducting a critical incident training with the Orange County Fire Authority Thursday and Friday at the Bridge Church. Residents will see an increased law enforcement and fire presence on site during this time. There will be no impact to traffic in the area. pic.twitter.com/nVzglfT9kS

During this training exercise, residents will see increased emergency response personnel in the Rancho Santa Margarita community. The training runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will not affect traffic or business activity, the OCSD tweeted.
