International Space Station Orbits Over California Thursday Night
If you love stargazing, tonight is your night! watch the International Space Station flyover California. Here's where to find it.
Do you love looking up into the night sky? Thursday night, stargazers and NASA fans can cast their gaze to the heavens and spy the International Space Station as it orbits overhead. That bright dot you'll witness will be visible for approximately ten minutes. For that brief time, you can see the folks living and working miles above the earth.
According to astronomer Dennis Mammana, expect a "very bright pass of the International Space Station" Thursday night.
Start looking for it just after 7:15 p.m. until roughly 7:23 p.m., Mammana told us over Facebook.
"It will drift from southwest to northeast, but the times will vary slightly for different locations," he said.
