Man ID'd In Fatal Trabuco Canyon Motorcycle Crash
A 59-year-old Lake Forest resident died Thursday morning while riding his motorcycle down Live Oak Canyon Road in Trabuco Canyon.
TRABUCO CANYON, CA — A Lake Forest man died Thursday morning in a solo crash in Trabuco Canyon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Jeffrey Vrana, 59, was riding his 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Live Oak Canyon Road, just west of Hamilton Trail, at around 9:30 a.m., according to reports.
"For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle veered right, off the roadway and struck a wooden power pole," The California Highway Patrol wrote in a statement. "As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries."

It is not yet known if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
