Man Suffers Burn Injuries In Rancho Santa Margarita Garage Fire

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A man was hospitalized with burn injuries from a garage fire in Rancho Santa Margarita Saturday afternoon.

The fire was reported at 2:14 p.m. on Via Belmonte, a short street in Rancho Santa Margarita, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg Barta. Firefighters found a man suffering burn injuries at the scene. He had stable vital signs when he was transported to a hospital for treatment, Barta said.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the garage and had it knocked down in 18 minutes.
