One More Week Of Intense Heat Forecasted In Rancho Santa Margarita
Rancho Santa Margarita residents can expect more blistering temperatures this week and a chance of thunderstorms late into the weekend.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Rancho Santa Margarita residents will not get much of a reprieve from the heat until this weekend, according to an extended heat advisory issued by the National Weather Service Monday.
The excessive heat advisory was extended until Friday, according to a NWS report, as inland Orange County gets scorched by an ongoing late-summer heat wave that ushered in triple-digit temperatures starting last week.
On Wednesday and Thursday, temperatures in Rancho Santa Margarita will drop from the triple digits to the low-'90s, according to Accuweather.

Friday will likely bring in 100-degree weather with strong wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour, with plenty of cloud cover.
On Saturday, residents will likely experience cooler temperatures in the mid to low-'80s and monsoon thunderstorms, Accuweather said.
