Ortega Highway Rollover: 'Jaws of Life' Used to Save Driver

A Sunday night rollover crash on the Ortega Highway required the Jaws of Life to extract the driver of a pickup truck.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A dramatic rescue operation last night on the Ortega Highway, as a driver of a truck required heavy materials rescue by the Orange County Fire Authority.

At truck driving the Ortega Highway late Sunday night and flipped for an unknown reason ending up off the road and on it's roof according to OCFA information officers.

OCFA reported from the scene that one person was trapped inside the truck. OCFA Heavy Rescue attended the victim, and by 11:45 p.m. was on their way to an area hospital.

There is no word as to the driver's name, condition or what caused the rollover accident.
