Public Urged To Attend Fire Safety Meeting In RSM
Attending residents will learn about wildfire prevention, emergency preparedness and more at the August meeting. What to know.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA β Rancho Santa Margarita residents were urged to arm themselves with knowledge, after the city announced a Fire Safety and Preparedness Community Meeting set for Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Residents who attend the meeting will hear presentations on the following:
- Wildfire Prevention
- Emergency Preparedness
- Fire Extinguisher Demonstration
- Smoke Detector and Alarm Information
- Evacuation Preparedness & Procedures
The community meeting will be held by the Orange County Fire Authority and the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the city said.

The Fire Safety and Preparedness Community Meeting takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center. The event is free, and residents do not need to register.
