Quake Rattles OC, Rancho Santa Margarita: Did You Feel It?

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA —A small earthquake centered between Riverside and Orange County shook the southland Monday morning.

Shortly before 6:30 a.m. the 3.3 magnitude temblor rattled at a depth of 4.9 miles, an epicenter just over six miles east-northeast of Rancho Santa Margarita, the USGS reported.
According to the USGS, this temblor was felt across Orange County and parts of Riverside County, Classified as between a "weak" and "light" shaking quake.

No injuries or damages were reported in the quake, and none were expected.
