Rancho Santa Margarita Cops Arrest Suspect For Drug Trafficking

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA —This week, night shift Rancho Santa Margarita deputies made contact with a "suspicious person" on Sunday evening, in the area of Antonio and Santa Margarita Parkway.

The incident took place at approximately 7 p.m. on the corner of Flor de Jardin and Flor de Sol, according to OCSD Crime Mapping.

"Through their investigation, they were able to find drugs, large amounts of cash, multiple cell phones, needles and other drug paraphernalia in his possession," an OCSD spokesperson said.

A subsequent arrest was made, they said.
