Rancho Santa Margarita To Host Veterans Day Ceremony
This Wednesday, a special Veterans Day reception and recognition ceremony takes place at Rancho Santa Margarita's civic center.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Are you looking for a way to say "thank you" to the countless veterans who have served our nation? This Veterans Day, the City of Rancho Santa Margarita is holding a reception and recognition ceremony to show appreciation for veterans living in the Rancho Santa Margarita community.
All veterans and their families are invited by the city to participate in the recognition ceremony.
"Veterans Day is the day set aside to thank and honor all those who served honorably in the military — in wartime or peacetime," The city wrote on its website. "The City of Rancho Santa Margarita would like to thank local veterans for their service, to acknowledge that their contributions to our national security are appreciated, and to underscore the fact that all those who have served in the military have sacrificed and performed a noble duty."

The city is also seeking photos of veterans to be included in a presentation to be given the day of the event. The reception for the Veterans Day event starts at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday at the Rancho Santa Margarita Civic Center, 22112 El Paseo. Following the reception, the recognition ceremony takes place during Rancho Santa Margarita's City Council meeting at 7 p.m.
