RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Expect periods of gusty east winds tonight and into Thursday for inland Orange County according to the National Weather Service.
"Surface high pressure over New Mexico will create gusty easterly winds over portions of inland Orange County tonight through early Wednesday afternoon and into Thursday," they stated in an alert.
"Orange County inland areas, including Mission Viejo will experience a wind advisory from 10 p.m. Tuesday night through 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Expect winds blowing from the east at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
"The strongest and most widespread winds will be tonight into Wednesday morning," they said. "The strongest winds across Inland Orange County near the foothills of the Santa Ana mountains."
