Rancho Santa Margarita's Pieology Continues Total Pizza Domination into NoCal

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — When it comes to the question -- Who's best with the "make your own pizza" shops, Pieology of Rancho Santa Margarita is the only answer. Cotti Foods, which owns the exclusive franchise rights to open Pieology restaurants throughout Hawaii and Bakersfield.

Now, expanding Pieology Pizzeria to its first Goleta location, the restaurateurs behind Pieology have a lot to smile about.

Pieology Goleta will be the fifth location owned and operated by California-based Cotti Foods.

At Pieology, guests are offered house-made dough that is pressed into 11.5-inch thin pizza crusts, which is typically larger than others in the custom pizza space.

Guests can then select from eight signature sauces, moving down the line to choose from more than 40 fresh and flavorful meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs and spices. Pizzas are then stone oven fired in approximately three minutes.

Pieology offers "flavor blasts"of sauces added after baking, including fiery buffalo, pesto and BBQ. Crusts aregluten-free crust, or can be whole wheat, and dairy free with Daiya vegan mozzarella cheese.

Not in the mood for pizza? Pieology also offers custom made-to-order salads. Customers can select from three fresh lettuce options of organic field greens, romaine hearts or spinach, topped with any of Pieology’s variety of toppings, including sunflower seeds, garbanzo beans and candied walnuts, along with a choice of five in-house made dressings. A signature or Caesar salad is also available, and small salads can be paired with pizza.
