Robbery Reported In South OC Neighborhood

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Authorities are investigating a robbery that took place in a south Orange County neighborhood Friday morning, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

The robbery was reported around 5:40 a.m. in the area of Calle Sonoma and Calle Alamitos in the City of Rancho Santa Margarita.

Authorities arrived to the scene shortly after and confirmed that a robbery took place.

The incident is currently under investigation and a suspect is being sought. Authorities said there was no active threat to the community.
