RSM City To Host Drug Take Back Day: Save The Date

In honor of National Drug Take Back Day, the city is hosting a drive for residents to anonymously drop off prescription medication.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Do you have unused, old or expired prescription medication taking up space in your medicine cabinet?

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita is hosting a recycling event April 30 in commemoration of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, and residents are encouraged to stop by and dispose of their unused medication.

The city, along with the Orange County Sheriff's Department, host this event twice a year. It is designed to be a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs, the city said in a statement.

The drug disposal event takes place April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Rancho Santa Margarita City Hall, 22112 El Paseo.
