The 2023 State of the City address was presented on November 9th at the annual event sponsored by the RSM Chamber of Commerce and is available for viewing on the City's YouTube Channel.

This year's presentation featured special guest Anthony R. Moiso, who developed the 5,000-acre City of Rancho Santa Margarita. Emceed by RSM Chamber President Josh Bastian, join Mayor Holloway for a look at the City of Rancho Santa Margarita from a "then and now" perspective, focusing on many of the individuals responsible for the City we enjoy today. Mr. Moiso begins the program with a historical overview of how the idea of Rancho Santa Margarita came to fruition and the many steps and people involved in the development, design, and planning.
Mayor Holloway also recognized Providence Mission Hospital, Santa Margarita Catholic High School, OCFA, and OCSD for their significant impact on our community's growth, success, and safety. He concludes with an overview of the City's position today as the beautiful, safe, family-friendly, and financially stable community that residents throughout the years have had a part in building, sustaining, or enjoying.
