RSM Splash Pad Reopens After Maintenance

Rancho Santa Margarita residents do not have to make a reservation in order to enjoy the community splash pad.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Rancho Santa Margarita's Central Park Splash Pad reopened Friday after maintenance repairs, city spokesperson Laura Lopez told Patch.

The splash pad was closed to the community for repairs shortly after April 9. Lopez said that following the success of the splash pad's grand opening, "certain adjustments were necessary to ensure the longevity of the splash pad."

As of Friday, Rancho Santa Margarita residents no longer need to create a reservation to visit the splash pad. Lopez said that in the future — and depending on the amount of people who want to visit the splash pad — the need for a reservation system will be reevaluated and updated as needed.
