RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Rancho Santa Margarita may notice long black hoses stretched across many of their city's local roadways as a part of an effort to collect traffic data throughout town, the city said this week.

According to the city, the black hoses are designed to collect traffic data at roughly 50 locations across town for the next two-to-three weeks.

The city will use the data in the upcoming General Plan Circulation Element update. For more information about the project, visit the city's website.
