Six Points For Kids Visits Rancho Santa Margarita Therapy Center

About 20 deputies visited kids, parents and therapists at the aMAYZing Kids Physical Therapy Clinic in March.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — The Orange County Sheriff's Department Six Points For Kids program gave back to a children's therapy clinic in Rancho Santa Margarita in March.

Six Points For Kids volunteers met at the aMAYZing Kids Clinic in Rancho Santa Margarita for this outing. Over 20 deputies who attended the event visited with kids, parents and therapists while at the clinic, a spokesperson for the group said.

They interacted with more than 40 kids from the therapy clinic on March 16th and taught them a bit about patrol, and specialty units and, of course, took some photos. A few K-9 officers were also in attendance.

The aMAYZing Kids Clinic offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy for the pediatric population of Orange County, according to the group's website. While it specializes in treating a variety of diagnoses and conditions, the group also coordinates activities with area nonprofits, such as the Six Points for Kids program.

During the event, the deputy volunteers mugged for pictures, showed off their squad cars, and answered the families' questions.
