Smoke Seen From 91 Freeway, OC As Brush Fire Burns In Norco
The Mann Fire, burning in the Santa Ana riverbed, sent a plume of smoke that concerned Orange County residents, Tuesday, amid growing winds.

ANAHEIM, CA — Residents of Anaheim reported seeing smoke to the east, according to the City of Anaheim Fire Department. That column of dark smoke originated at the Norco Mann Fire, which broke out Tuesday midday and forced evacuations.
The fire began shortly before 10 a.m. in the Santa Ana river bottom.
An air attack was working the blaze, and 200 firefighters battled on the ground, according to Patch reports.

Anaheim is fully staffed, according to the district, and some battalion chiefs were assisting with the response.
