Solo Rollover Crash Blocks Holy Jim Canyon Road: CHP

A blue Toyota Landcruiser was found overturned on its side around Santiago Peak, nearing the border of Riverside County.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA — Two people found at the scene of a crash in Holy Jim Canyon were rescued by authorities Thursday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The site of the crash was discovered shortly after 8 a.m. when SoCal Edison workers spotted a car, identified as a blue Toyota Landcruiser lying on its side, according to preliminary reports.

Two patients were discovered walking near the site of the crash by California Highway Patrol officers.

They were assessed by Orange County Fire Authority firefighters and found to be free of injuries, OCFA Capt. Greg Barta told Patch.

No arrests were reported.

The crash happened less than a mile from Santiago Peak in Trabuco Canyon, nearing the border of Orange and Riverside counties.
