RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Steer clear of the Santa Margarita Parkway and Alicia Parkway intersection Thursday after a collision downed traffic signals, officials say

The city of Rancho Santa Margarita reported the incident at 2:15 p.m.

"Crews are on the scene repairing traffic signals at Santa Margarita Parkway and Alicia due to a traffic collision," a Rancho Santa Margarita city spokesperson said over Twitter. "Expect delays and use alternate routes if possible."

Eastbound Santa Margarita Parkway traffic was most affected during the repairs and was stalled before Melinda Road.
