Wet Weather On The Way In Rancho Santa Margarita Through New Year's

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Rancho Santa Margarita residents will see a return of wet, wintry weather this week all the way through New Year's Day, the National Weather Service reported.

The dip in temperatures comes after Orange County residents experienced a warm and dry Christmas Day. According to the National Weather Service, residents can expect cloud coverage, low temperatures and a high chance of rain showers through the week.

On Wednesday, Rancho Santa Margarita residents can expect cloudy skies with a chance of rain in the morning, with temperatures ranging in the low-to-mid '60s.

On Thursday, residents will likely experience nighttime showers that could carry on into Friday.

Residents can expect the most rain on Saturday, New Year's Eve, when heavy showers are predicted.

On Sunday, New Year's Day, residents can expect light rain showers in the morning and temperatures in the low '60s.
