Giving Tuesday originated as a way to think beyond your immediate family and focus on others during the holidays. In Orange County, many nonprofit organizations are requesting assistance and Giving Tuesday. It's the perfect opportunity to support them.
These days, there are many ways to give. Whether you choose to start a Facebook donations campaign, send your reward points on Amazon to a nonprofit through Amazon Smile, or a direct donation, all forms of donating are appreciated.

In Rancho Santa Margarita, there are several charitable organizations working tirelessly around the year to provide services, education and help to people in need across the county. Here are a few that you may want to support this Giving Tuesday.
The Bradley Rofer Foundation is a new nonprofit that was established in the name of one astounding South Orange County boy who left this earth far too early.

The foundation seeks to provide funds and services to sick children across Orange County, and this year, a local Family Foundation will be matching all donations to the nonprofit for Giving Tuesday.
"We are blown away by this generosity and confidence in our team to put the money to good use in helping sick children in our community," the foundation wrote on Facebook.
Residents can make a tax-deductible donation by visiting the Bradley Rofer Foundation's website.
Residents can also donate to the RSM Cares Food Pantry, which serves over 200 families at each of their pantry distribution sites. The nonprofit also partners with Age Well to provide distribution to homebound seniors who are unable to visit the pantry.
