Wind Advisory In Rancho Santa Margarita, Foothill Gusts To 50 MPH
Inland Orange County residents can expect blustery winds until early Saturday morning, the National Weather Service reported.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A wind advisory will take effect Monday across inland Orange County bringing a chill to the region, including in Rancho Santa Margarita.
According to the National Weather Service, the advisory will be in effect from 4 a.m. Friday through 4 a.m. Saturday with expected wind gusts up to 25 mph in Rancho Santa Margarita but much stronger in higher elevations.
The strongest winds will be felt along the foothills Friday evening and range from 45 to 50 mph, according to the NWS.

"Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects," the agency warned. Blustery winds can also blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs may be blown down and a few power outages may occur, the NWS reported.
