Woman Accused Of Stealing Bikes From Schools In South OC

A 31-year-old woman is facing felony charges for stealing several bikes from schools in Ladera Ranch, court records show.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A 31-year-old woman was facing felony charges for stealing several bicycles from schools in Ladera Ranch, court records revealed Thursday.

Mavy Erendida Sojorodriguez pleaded not guilty Wednesday at her arraignment in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana, records show. She posted bail and was released Thursday.

She is next due in court April 21 for a pretrial hearing hearing in the West Justice Center in Westminster.

Sojorodriguez faces four felony counts of grant theft and a misdemeanor count of petty theft. She was accused of stealing at least four unlocked bicycles belonging to students on school campuses Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and 24.
