ORANGE, CA — A domestic dispute began a bizarre standoff with the Orange Police Department SWAT team, Friday morning. The SWAT team took up positions outside a home in Orange Friday morning. The woman was suspected in a domestic dispute involving a firearm, and officers attempted to coax her to emerge, but the incident ended with no arrest.

It all began on Thursday evening, at just before 5:30 p.m., according to Orange Police Lt. Jennifer Amat.

"Officers went at 5:25 p.m. Thursday to the 4500 block of Simmons Avenue in response to a report of a domestic dispute between a man and a woman, Amat said. "The man was able to get out of the home without injury, however the woman remained in the home alone, refusing to leave."
