Redlands Adds More Attractions To Annual 'Plane-Or-Treat' Halloween Event (patch.com) β Families in Redlands can look forward to the Plane-or-Treat Halloween celebration at Redlands Municipal Airport on Sunday, Oct. 25, with expanded attractions including an inflatable maze, carnival games, and a petting zoo. Visitors can trick-or-treat among airplane displays, enjoy live music, explore Halloween-decorated electric vehicles, and should plan for parking at Redlands Sports Park and a short walk to the airport.

Crews Complete ADA Sidewalk Upgrades In Redlands: Caltrans (patch.com) β Pedestrians in Redlands now have safer, more accessible sidewalks along Lugonia Avenue near the 210 Freeway, after Caltrans completed ADA-focused upgrades between Tennessee Avenue and Citrus Plaza Drive. New crosswalks and sidewalks are designed to improve mobility and safety for anyone walking through this busy corridor.

Redlands police to host free Coptober event Oct. 17 (communityforwardredlands.com) β Redlands families can meet local police and community groups at the free Coptober 2026 event on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Redlands Ranch Market. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., kids can enjoy K-9 visits, bicycle drawings, free books, music, and barbecue while connecting with officers, nonprofits, and local businesses.

Train robbers lose police after high-speed chase near Crestline (newsbreak.com) β A Union Pacific train was robbed in Redlands early Thursday, sparking a high-speed chase into Crestline and an ongoing manhunt in the San Bernardino Mountains. Authorities say the five suspects may be armed but schools, including Crestline Elementary, remained open under normal lockdown procedures. Residents near the search area are anxious for arrests as investigators link the getaway car to an earlier train heist.
