A paper on online learning by Anna Ya Ni, then professor of public administration and now associate dean in the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, was cited in an article promoting the benefits of online learning. The article said, in part, β€œOnline classes also have the potential to make participation less intimidating for some students, according to aΒ journal article from California State University - San Bernardino.”

The article, β€œComparing the Effectiveness of Classroom and Online Learning: Teaching Research Methods,” was published in the Journal of Public Affairs Education in 2013.
