
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. --Β Commencement ceremonies exercises at Cal State San Bernardino will take on a new scheduling format in 2014, with graduation set for June 12-14, with no ceremonies on Fathersβ Day, Sunday, June 15.
The university will continue to hold six separate graduation events during the commencement weekend, beginning with ceremonies for students from CSUSBβs Palm Desert Campus, on Thursday, June 12. The ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. at The Show at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage.
Commencement for graduate students who will earn masterβs and doctoral degrees from CSUSBβs five academic colleges will be held on campus at Coussoulis Arena on Friday, June 13, beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Cal State San Bernardinoβs College of Social and Behavioral Sciences will hold its graduation at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Coussoulis Arena, followed by ceremonies for the colleges of Arts and Letters and Education at 11:45 a.m., Business and Public Administration at 3:45 p.m. and Natural Sciences at 7:45 p.m.
βThis is the first time in many years that we wonβt hold commencement on the Sunday of Fathersβ Day weekend, and the first time that we will present four separate graduation events in one day,β said Carol Dixon, executive director of special events and guest services at CSUSB.

βIβm glad we will have Saturday to celebrate commencement and Sunday to celebrate Fatherβs Day,β said Stephanie Ceja, a business major with an emphasis in marketing. βIt will be a full party weekend β woo hoo!β
