CSUSB names new director of development for athletics

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. --Β Veteran inland area fundraiser Christina Gordon has been named the new director of development for athletics at Cal State San Bernardino.

Gordon had served as the development director of athletics at California Baptist University in Riverside since 2008, where she enjoyed great success building a comprehensive development program focused on annual and corporate giving, stewardship, as well as the implementation of a varsity club.

Gordon was responsible for the largest single gift to athletics in CBU history ($300,000) and recently fulfilled all three phases of a $1 million lighting campaign.

β€œWe’re delighted to have someone of Christina’s talents, capabilities and successes join our development team,” said Ron Fremont, the CSUSB vice president for university advancement. β€œChristina will complement our tremendous athletics program.”

Gordon earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Cal Poly Pomona, where she also played intercollegiate volleyball. She went on to earn a master’s degree in business administration from Cal Baptist.
