CSUSB to host San Bernardino city mayoral debate on Jan. 22

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. --Β Cal State San Bernardino will host and be the site of a debate on Wednesday, Jan. 22, between candidates Carey Davis and Wendy McCammack in their quest to become the next mayor of San Bernardino.

Free parking is available on Lot D of the campus.

CSUSB President TomΓ‘s D. Morales will deliver the opening remarks. The format will consist of an hour-long debate with questions from a team of panelists: CSUSB political science professor Alemayehu G. Mariam, Sun metro editor Ryan Carter and San Bernardino Generation Now member and CSUSB student Richard Tejada, with Sun opinion editor Jessica Keating serving as moderator.

Following the debate, members of the audience will then be able to ask their own questions.
