The Friends of the A.K. Smiley Public Library present the Semi-Annual Sale. It features over 6,000 books, plus toys, puzzles, dvds, records and more. There is something for everyone and all proceeds go to help support the library.
The sale is open to the public on September 11th from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and runs through Sunday, September 16th. The price per book is $6 on the first day and the price is reduced each day thereafter. All books are gently used and in nearly new condition.
Sale hours and prices are: Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. $6;Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p,m, $5; Thursday, 10:00 to 4:30 p.m. $4;Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.$3; Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. $2;Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. $2.
