Farmer Boys Presents Check for $68,000+ To Loma Linda Hospital

Farmer Boys collected customer donations during its 17th annual 'Give a Helping Hand' fundraiser.

From Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital: Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) received a $68,832 donation from Farmer Boys. Representatives from the restaurant chain delivered the check to the hospital on Thursday, Feb. 15.

Farmer Boys collected customer donations during its 17th annual “Give a Helping Hand” fundraiser, Sept. 6 through Oct. 14, 2017. Farmer Boys guests were invited to make a donation by giving $1 or more for a paper “Be a Champion for Children” icon. Over the past 17 years they have donated over $720,000 to LLUCH.

Karen Eadon, president/COO of Farmer Boys, said the money they’ve been able to raise for LLUCH is pretty special. “When we ask for donations of our employees, friends, customers and franchisees, we help them to understand what the donation really means for these kids.”

In addition to the annual fundraiser, Farmer Boys is also the presenting sponsor the LLUCH’s annual Children’s Day held in May.

Funds from the Helping Hand fundraiser will support Vision 2020: The Campaign for a Whole Tomorrow and Children’s Day.
