Freeway Closures Scheduled on I-215
The freeway is scheduled to be fully closed overnight for the next few nights.

Travelers making their way through Interstate 215 in San Bernardino are being warned there will be full freeway closures starting tonight at 9 p.m.
The San Bernardino Associated Governments website warns that the freeway will be closed so crews may work on a bridge. Below is the announcement:
A series of nighttime full freeway closures are scheduled for March 24-28 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to allow crews to continue removal of a temporary bridge structure on the SR-259 connector ramp.

Since the work will not require the closure of the northbound or southbound SR-259, the detours for the closure have changed:
Northbound I-215: Take the northbound SR-259 connector ramp onto eastbound SR-210, exit H Street and turn left, turn left on West 30th Street, use the on-ramp to access westbound SR-210, and access northbound I-215.

Southbound I-215: Exit Mt. Vernon Avenue/27th Street and turn right, turn left onto Highland Avenue and access southbound I-215 using the southbound SR-259 on-ramp.
