Harley Riding Santa Roars into Children's Hospital
Motorcycle clubs deliver dozens of toys to sick youngsters.
Youngsters at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital got a special visit from a Harley Davidson riding Santa on Sunday.
Despite wet weather, Santa and several of his helpers came roaring in on motorcycles. The visit was part of the 18th Annual Loma Linda University Childrens Hospital Toy Run.
"We'll usually have 150 bikes here," said Steven Taylor, a member of the Motorcycles Riders Association. The group partners with the Elsinore Valley Touring Riders to collect and deliver toys for the event.

For the last nine years, the toy run has started from Quaid Harley Davidson in Loma Linda and wound its way to the hospital. This year, the rain kept the group small, said club member Marcia Taylor, mother to Steven.
"We had over 400 sign-ins last year," Marcia Taylor said. "They come, sign in, bring toys."

Santa and Mrs. Claus both made an appearance. Santa declined to go by any other name but Kris Kringle.
"I believe every child deserves a good Christmas," he said.
