MUST SEE: Motorcyclist Does Stunts, Tricks While Leading CHP on Pursuit; Then Surrenders

The chase through San Bernardino County wasn't quite like anything you've likely seen.

A motorcyclist led California Highway Patrol officers on an hour-long pursuit Wednesday night that began in San Bernardino County and ended there, with a brief incursion into Eastern Los Angeles County.

CBS News reports the chase began in Highland, making its way west towards Rancho Cucamonga and Pomona.

The motorcyclist was being chased for reckless driving, according to CHP Officer Patrick Kimball. He was driving at speeds up to 100 mph, and blew several red lights.

As the chase went on, news crews captured some interesting footage. Aerial video shows the man doing tricks and seemingly taunting CHP officers by standing up on his seat.

At one point in the pursuit, the man was cornered in a dead end street by an officer, but drove right past him, almost clipping the CHP car’s open door, footage shows. He was followed by two CHP motorcycle officers and a helicopter above.

Toward the end of the ordeal, he went back east on Foothill Boulevard, the old Route 66.

Finally, apparently done with his trickster ways for the evening, he pulled into a gas station at Cucamonga and San Bernardino streets in Ontario, and surrendered.

As he was being taken away by CHP officers, he told KCAL9 that “I just want to say I love my family and my two baby girls.”

His Honda motorcycle, a little the worse for wear, was taken away by a tow truck.

The case is being investigated by the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department.
