The City of Redlands is preparing to mark its 125th Anniversary in 2013, and limited edition calendars celebrating the city's history go on sale in November, a city spokesman announced Wednesday.

"The full-color, glossy 12-month calendar features rarely seen photos of past Redlands celebrations, including the 75th and 100th anniversaries as well as presidential visits and other notable events," Baker said.
"Each month will also include dates with interesting historical Redlands events that occurred on that date as well as a listing of upcoming 125th Anniversary year events," Baker said.
Pre-sale of the limited edition calendars will be Nov. 1 through Nov. 15, and they will be handled by Smiley, Franklin and Lugonia elementary schools, according to Baker.

Calendars may also be ordered through Pennington Designs, 19 E. Citrus Ave., Suite 104, Baker said.
The $20 price of each calendar includes tax, Baker said.
"Those ordering calendars directly through Pennington Designs will be asked to designate one of the three schools to benefit from the purchase," Baker said. "Additional calendars will be available in limited quantities at Pennington Designs after Dec. 4."
City officials have described the upcoming 125th anniversary as a "year-long" celebration, culminating in November 2013.
