Redlands Bar Worker Accused of Sexually Assaulting Woman

A Redlands man is facing sexual assault charges after a recent attack at a local bar, police said Monday.

Redlands Police Spokesman Carl Baker announced an arrest has been made in the alleged assault which happened on Aug. 25 at a bar in the downtown area,  in the 300 block of North 5th Street.

Investigators arrested 58-year-old Bill Edward Bracy Wednesday, he said.

"The victim reported that Bracy called her into an office at the business where he works about 6:30 p.m. that day and closed the door before sexually assaulting her," Baker said.

Redlands police have arrested the man on charges of sexual assault, penetration with a foreign object and false imprisonment, according to the spokesman.  Jail records indicate he is being held at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga in lieu of $250,000 bail and is set to be arraigned on Friday.
