Redlands Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Crash on Oak Glen Road in Yucaipa

A motorcyclist from Redlands was fatally injured Monday when he crashed on Oak Glen Road in Yucaipa, coroner's personnel said in a statement.

Omar Pineda, 47, a resident of Redlands, was riding south on Oak Glen about 4 p.m. Feb. 25 when he struck a curb and was thrown off his motorcycle, according to coroner's personnel.

"He was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he died from his injuries," coroner's personnel said.

No other people or vehicles were involved in the crash. Deputies at the sheriff's Yucaipa Station were investigating.
