Redlands Residents Invited to Apply for Cultural Arts Commision

The Cultural Arts Commission promotes public interest in arts, among other things.

The following is a news release from the City of Redlands: 

The City of Redlands is seeking Redlands residents interested in serving on the Cultural Arts Commission. Commissioners are appointed by the City Council.

The Cultural Arts Commission promotes public interest in arts, recommends new arts programs and sources of funding for those programs, assists the City Council by recommending policies to encourage, develop and support the arts in Redlands, and advises the City Council in the administration of the City's "Art in Public Places" program.

The Cultural Arts Commission meets bi-monthly on the second Monday of odd-numbered months at 4 p.m.

Residents interested in applying for the non-salaried position on this commission may request application forms from the City Manager's Office, City Hall, 35 Cajon Street, Suite 200, or by phone 798-7510, or from the City’s website or on-line at www.cityofredlands.org. Deadline for filing applications is Oct. 4.
