Video: Police Chase Zips Past Southland Man's Front Door

SAN BERNARDINO, CA — It isn't every day that you wake up to the wail of sirens and a car chase happening right outside your front door! One San Bernardino resident was drawn to just that sort of cacophony Saturday morning.

This resident secured his red bathrobe and went outside to see what all the fuss was about.

In this video as it appears on the Neighbors app, the man is shown exiting his house to the sound of faraway sirens and helicopters. As the sirens grew louder, he ambled toward his picket fence to see the events unfold first hand.

First, the suspect's vehicle speeds past his house, followed seconds later by multiple sheriff's deputies vehicles.

Video from the Neighbors app shows the events unfold until the gentleman is called back to the safety of his home.

The incident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department reminded residents to stay indoors if you see police activity in your area.
