19-Year-Old Arrested, Accused Of Armed Home-Invasion Robbery

RBPD investigators this week identified and arrested a 19-year-old on suspicion of an armed home-invasion robbery.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Redondo Beach Police Department investigators this week identified and arrested a 19-year-old on suspicion of an armed home-invasion robbery in April, according to authorities.

According to officers, Dylan Damarco Landry of Los Angeles illegally entered a home, pistol-whipped the resident inside and demanded their property. Officers received the report about the robbery on April 15 at about 9:07 a.m. and responded to the 600 block of Beryl Street, but Landry was not at the home when officers arrived.

The incident remained under investigation, according to RBPD, and detectives were able to develop more information that identified a person of interest in the case. Officers served warrants and location in LA on Tuesday, May 16 which led to Landry's arrest.

Landry was booked into Redondo Beach Police Department jail on suspicion of commercial burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping. RBPD said the case will be presented to the LA County District Attorney's Office for consideration of filing criminal charges.
