2 South Bay Junior Golfers Earn SoCal PGA Performance Awards
Young golfers from Redondo Beach and Torrance have been recognized for their achievements on the Southern California PGA Junior Tour.
Rose Callewart, a young golfer from Redondo Beach who participates in the Southern California PGA Junior Tour, has received awards for her achievements during the previous golf season.
She was recognized on April 11 during the SCPGA Junior Tour Virtual Banquet of Champions, which celebrates the past season's accomplishments while recognizing players who have excelled on the course as well as people and organizations who have supported junior golf.
Among Callewaert's achievements last season were:

- Winner of The Toyota Tour Cup Los Robles SCPGA Junior Tour
- Seven finishes inside the top 5=five
- Nine rounds of par or better (low round of 68)
- Scoring average of 73.17
In addition, another junior golfer from the South Bay was recognized during the virtual banquet. Nikki Oh of Torrance was named to the girls' All-Southern California Junior Team, which recognizes golfers who attain success at the local, state and national levels.
Oh's achievements include reaching no. 8 on the Junior Golf Scoreboard; AJGA All-American Honorable Mention; representing the United States in the 2025 Junior Ryder Cup; and becoming Girls Champion - AJGA Rolex Tournament of Champions.
