5 Hurt in 6-Car Crash on 405 Freeway in Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- Five people were hurt Monday in a six-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Redondo Beach, authorities said.

It was reported at 12:04 a.m. on the northbound San Diego Freeway just north of Inglewood Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Six vehicles were involved and five people were taken to hospitals, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Miguel Ornelas.
