$783,546 Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Torrance
The lottery ticket had five winning numbers, but was missing the Mega number in the latest drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – A Mega Millions lottery ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number in the latest drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery, was sold at a Torrance market and is worth $783,546, the California Lottery announced Wednesday.
One ticket each with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold in Florida and Illinois, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced. They are each worth $1 million.
California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.

The numbers drawn Tuesday night were 3, 7, 22, 27, 50 and the Mega number was 3. The estimated jackpot was $106 million.
The drawing was the 11th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.
