Alert Issued For Missing South Bay Man
Daniel Salgado was last seen at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at Torrance Boulevard and Earl Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
LOS ANGELES COUNTY -- An Endangered Missing Advisory has been issued for a South Bay man who disappeared on Tuesday.
Daniel Salgado of Torrance was last seen around 1 p.m. on Feb. 24 at Torrance Boulevard and Earl Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities say that Salgado is 43, Latino, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a blue sweater and gray pants. He was believed to be traveling on foot.

Salgado may be developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired, authorities have indicated, which is why an Endangered Missing Alert was issued. Anyone who may have been him or otherwise have information about his disappearance is asked to call 911.
